Hi, I'm Morgan.

Hello, I’m Morgan Ajello, LPC, LMHC, NCC, QS. I am a licensed mental health therapist, a nationally board-certified counselor, and the founder of Omata LLC. With a decade’s worth of clinical experience and training licensed across multiple states and recognized as a Qualified Supervisor through NBCC, I bring both the credentials and the lived experience to back what I teach to future clinicians.

After the rewarding experience of being invited to teach at my alma mater, Johnson & Wales University, I was once again reminded of the missing link between graduation and licensure that created such confusion. My journey was shaped by the complexities of licensure requirements, a lack of education on running a business, and moments questioning why I even entered this field in the first place. Building a practice from the ground up without a clue, without a mentor, and without the resources I wished had existed was a difficult learning experience.

Every challenge you may face and every question you may have is what I aim to answer in this first-of-its-kind fillable workbook to avoid that unnecessary difficulty. In this workbook, you’ll find guidance spanning across the licensure process, launching your own private practice, growing a caseload, and other important information such as insurance credentialing.

The core mission I’ve carried since college is to help all “One Mind At A Time.” To grow boldly, lead with integrity, and never lose sight of the clients and clinicians at the heart of my work.

Why I Started Omata LLC

When I graduated with my M.S. in Counseling Psychology, I felt like I had been handed a diploma and pointed toward a cliff edge. There was no roadmap for what came next — no one told me how to find a supervisor, track my hours, form an LLC, set fees, or handle insurance credentialing. I figured it out over a decade, one hard lesson at a time.

Omata LLC — One Mind At A Time — exists because that experience should not be the norm. I built the workbook and the CEU course I wish I'd had. I want every new clinician to walk into their career with clarity, confidence, and a plan.
